Dyslexia-Friendly Online Reading Class —
Learn From Anywhere!
Join our 7-Week Summer Reading Class meets on Zoom and is great for students who need extra help learning to read. In these live Zoom lessons, students will learn step-by-step reading skills starting from the beginning. Students follow along while I teach, so they can practice the skills during the lesson. All microphones stay muted so everyone can focus and learn.
These lessons use the Wilson Reading System, a proven program that helps struggling readers and students with dyslexia. Did you know that the way to teach reading to someone with Dyslexia, isn't JUST for the Dyslexic learner?-
It actually is very effective for anyone learning to read! No diagnosis? No problem!
The class is taught by a licensed special education teacher and speech-language assistant who has years of experience helping struggling readers succeed. My goal is to make reading clear, supportive, and even fun so every child can build confidence.
$15 per class | 2 classes per week | $210 for the full 7-week program

Cost Effective Reading Support
Get high-quality reading instruction without the high cost of private tutoring or speech/language therapy. This program provides structured literacy lessons using the Wilson Reading System, a program designed to help struggling readers and students with dyslexia. For just $15 p er class, students receive clear, step-by-step instruction from a licensed special education teacher with experience supporting children with reading and language challenges.
Good for 1st-3rd grade level readers/spellers still struggling with CVC words and know some for their sounds.

Program Dates
The summer reading program will run for 7 weeks, from the week of June 29 through August 14. Classes will be held two times per week during this time, giving students regular practice and consistent instruction to help build strong reading skills throughout the summer.

Live Online Lesson Format
This class is taught live on Zoom in a lecture-style format. The teacher leads the lesson while students follow along from home. To help everyone stay focused, student microphones will remain muted during instruction. This allows the teacher to move step-by-step through the structured literacy lesson so students can practice the skills being taught.
If a student needs extra help or still feels confused about a concept, families can schedule additional one-on-one tutoring with one of our literacy teachers for more support.
