We offer summer services to support children with reading and language challenges, build confidence, and make learning fun:

Dyslexia & Language Assessments – Standardized testing for Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and other language-based disorders

Speech-Language Support – 1:1 SLP interventions (requires current IEP with communication goals)

Academic & Dyslexia Tutoring – 1:1 sessions in literacy, writing, and math

6-Week Summer Program – Small-group instruction combining literacy, art, and enrichment activities

June 29th-August 14th (with 1 week break in the middle)
All programs use research-based methods, personalized attention, and a fun, supportive environment. Ideal for children ages 7–11 with suspected or diagnosed Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or other language-based learning differences.

Standardized Assessment for Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and other Language-Based Disorders
At Treehouse, our standardized assessments are the cheapest around and provide a thorough evaluation of your child’s reading, writing, and language skills to identify Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or other language-based learning challenges. Each assessment includes:

Comprehensive written report detailing strengths, challenges, and scores

Personalized goal recommendations for academic support

Accommodation and intervention strategies for school and home

Optional discussion session to review results and next steps (additional Cost/Scheduling)
We strive to make these assessments accessible and affordable for our community. Our pricing is:

Typical standardized assessments through private SLPs or clinics in Washington range from $600–$900 or more, making Treehouse one of the most affordable options in Longview without sacrificing quality or expertise.

6-Week Summer Program: Literacy, Art & Enrichment
​Our 6-week summer program is designed to help children struggling with reading, comprehension, and language skills while keeping learning fun, engaging, and multi-sensory. Each day, students participate in:

Small-group literacy instruction using research-based multi-sensory methods from The Science of Reading.

Comprehension support tailored to each student’s learning needs.

Creative enrichment including art and dance classes.

Fun, themed activities to support engagement and make learning memorable.

​Not just academics - fun art and dance classes throughout.

Individualized attention from trained educators.

Great for ages 7-11 and for those with suspected or diagnosed Dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other language-based disorders.

Program Schedule: 4 days/week, 9:15 AM – 11:30 AM, from June 29 – August 14 (with a week break, schedule TBD).

1:1 Summer Tutoring & SLP Interventions
Focused support in speech, language, and communication skills. These sessions are designed to extend and support your child’s existing IEP communication goals during the summer months to help maintain progress and prevent regression. A current IEP with communication goals must be provided upon registration.

Important Summer Program Notes

Summer 2026 assessments will focus exclusively on Dyslexia evaluations.

Families interested in continued support may enroll in ongoing summer speech and language services in addition to or separate from assessment services.

1:1 sessions are flexible, research-based, and tailored to your child’s unique needs, making them an excellent option for children who benefit from extra attention, skill reinforcement, or focused summer support.
